Art in Tanzania
Art in Tanzania is a Finnish - Tanzanian organization operating Art Residences and activities in Dar es Salaam, Moshi, Arusha and Masai land surrounding N'gorongoro crater and also African home stay residencies at Iringa, Mtwara and Zanzibar. Art in Tanzania runs a music recording studio, own bands and musicians, fine arts, handicrafts as stone cutting/jewelry making, candle making, batik making and other operations. We are performing community work around Tanzania as well as adventure - safari operations for our fund raising.

Our Mission
We are providing the visiting artists facilities to create and perform in exotic African atmosphere. We facilitate co-operation between the foreign and local Tanzanian artists. Our mission is to give the visiting artists a true and original African experience.

Our Excitement
We work in the African villages together with the African people, we join their every day life, their miseries and their happiness. We go deep to the Masai land where the the total wilderness fills our mind. We meet a lion at the prey, escape angry elephants....and at the end we create.
